Emma Mary Hall is a writer, performer and theatre-maker. Emma has written three award-winning solo performances (We May Have to Choose, Ode to Man and World Problems), all of which have toured nationally and internationally. Her works have been performed for thousands of people across Australia, South America, United Kingdom, the Netherlands and New Zealand. World Problems was presented by Melbourne Theatre Company and is published by Currency Press. Ode to Man was presented by Brisbane Festival and is published by Playlab. We May Have to Choose has been presented at the Women’s International Playwriting Conference in Chile, Auckland Writers Festival, Forest Fringe in Edinburgh, Brisbane and Darwin Festivals, and is self-published. Emma writes about identity, politics, and the ways in which internal worlds are governed by external social forces.
