SIMON STONE is an award-winning actor, writer and director. A graduate of the VCA he was the Founding Artistic Director of The Hayloft Project. He has adapted/directed many productions including The Suicide, The Only Child (after Ibsen's Little Eyolf), Platonov, Spring Awakening - which won the Sun Herald's Best Independent Production of 2008 - and the acclaimed The Wild Duck, seen at Belvoir St Theatre in 2011.

For Belvoir, THOMAS HENNING has previously appeared in The Business. In 2009 he co-wrote The Only Child which was a B Sharp/The Hayloft Project production. He is the co-creator and director of Black Lung Theatre, where his writing and directing credits include Rubeville and Glasoon and Avast. Thomas has worked as writer/actor with Melbourne’s The Hayloft Project on 3xSisters, The Only Child and most recently Thyestes. Rubeville won a series of awards including Best Production at the Melbourne and Adelaide Fringe Festivals, The Adelaide Touring Award and Best of the Fest at the Adelaide Fringe. Thomas received Best Adaptation at the 2010 Green Room Awards for his work on Thyestes, which also received Best Ensemble and Best Production.

CHRIS RYAN was co-writer on Simon Stone’s version of The Wild Duck, for Belvoir’s 2011 Season. As an actor Chris’ theatre credits includeMeasure for Measure and The Promise for Belvoir; Gross und Klein (Sydney Theatre Company); Baal, Tis Pity She’s a Whore and Elizabeth (Malthouse Theatre); Concussion (Sydney Theatre Company/Griffin Theatre Company); The Hypocrite (Melbourne Theatre Company); The Call (Griffin Theatre Company); Hamlet, Othello (Bell Shakespeare); Thyestes and Platonov (The Hayloft Project). Chris also featured in the short film Numurkah, which screened at FedFest 2009. Chris received a Sydney Theatre Award nomination for Best Newcomer for his role in Othello and a Green Room Award nomination for Best Male Performance for Platonov. The Wild Duck won Best Play at the 2011 Helpmann Awards.

MARK WINTER completed the acting program at the Victorian College of the Arts in 2005, under Lindy Davies. Mark works as an actor, writer and director with Black Lung Theatre and The Hayloft Project. Both companies are nationally recognised as harbingers of innovative and thought-provoking productions and both have earned a slew of awards. His feature film credits include Balibo, Van Diemen’s Land, Blame, Playing for Charlie and Triple Happiness. Mark also appeared in HBO Television’s The Pacific, produced by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks. Other TV credits include Winners and Losers, Killing Time and Rush. Mark also plays internet sensation Detective Larry Hard in Cop Hard, a webisode series. Thyestes was awarded Best Production, Best Ensemble and Best Adaptation at the 2010 Green Room Awards. Mark was also recognised for his performance as Atreus with a Best Actor nomination.
