Biography

Rashma N Kalsie

Rashma N. Kalsie is a playwright, author, regular contributor to Indic and theatre ezines and a theatre maker. Her works have been published and performed in Australia and India. Rashma’s works include the plays Padma Shri Prahasana, Melbourne Talam, The Lost Dog, The Perfect Matrimonial Alliance, Love in the Eighties, Want of A Man, Bholu in a Lab, and Meri Script Hai Kahan; the novels, Ohh! Gods are Online (Srishti Publishers & Distributors 2013) and The Buddha and the Bitch (Hay House Publishers 2018) contributing author to Many Ways to Heal (Rouletdge 2024); over 100 scripts for TV shows, the articles/short fiction published in popular magazines and ezines. Rashma is interested in Natyashastra, ancient Indian drama, theatre theories and how the ancient theories contribute to modern theater.
