Description

Goodbye Vaudeville Charlie Mudd is set in Edwardian Melbourne. This play is an evocation of a forgotten past - a play about pain and cruel desire; about the need for laughter, the palaces we build for it, and its human cost.

'A deeply accomplished work: darkly beautiful theatre that resonates in the intimate chambers of the mind' - The Australian

Return to Earth edges on the whimsical but is ultimately lyrical and profound. It is a poignant play that tenderly captures the moment, often littered with casualties, when a young person moves from transparency to opacity, from childhood to adulthood - a period of intense loss and confusion.

'The parallel universe of Lally Katz's imagination is an estranging, breathlessly anxious, uneasily hilarious place.' - The Australian
