MANUEL (MANNY) ASTON has extensive experience as a writer for Theatre In Education. He has had over 15 plays professionally produced, and three published. He is best known for his award-winning play for teenagers, Fossils, which has had popular seasons with professional theatres in Australia and overseas and is a popular choice in schools and for drama workshops. Manny has been writer-in- residence for Self Raising Theatre and Theatre South, and has had a number of plays commissioned by Canberra’s Jigsaw Theatre Company. His plays include: Deja Vu, Lady Lazarus, Three Blind Mice, Take Five, Clay Soldiers, When the Bough Breaks, Mercury, The Method, and Post & Rail.
